“The boys having played 12 games in 10 days overcame a lot of adversity and showed how much grit and determination they have to go along with their skill. The guys battled through some shotty refereeing and a phantom hit from behind penalty (called by a linesman) with 6 minutes to go and completed a great weekend with a 2-1 victory vs Banff in the final. That put us 2-0 in tournament play. The fellas were great in both tournaments both on and off the ice and received many compliments. Coach Clay Vanderham

“It was great to have the Midget AAs there as they showed support for the younger club team. This helped to motivate the boys and also provided huge confidence boosts.... Don Wheaton were not only great ambassadors for Southside but also great role models.
