Last year, SSAC and
SEERA members formed
a new independent board to operate
the former West Edmonton Wild
team for the 2010-11 season
in the Capital Junior B Hockey
League. The Edmonton
Mustangs Junior B Hockey Club
now has non-profit society status
and continue to look for team
sponsors. The inaugural head
coach returning for the 2011-12
season is former SSAC
player, Junior B player alumni
and long-time SSAC coach
Clay Vanderham. Assistant
coaches are Trevor Ruptash,
Austin Krysa and Darcy
Vanderham. The Edmonton
Mustangs logo is a
menacing horse with navy blue
and green.
